Thought we'd quickly post before heading out to the Great Wall this morning. Last night we had supper with Ed, Lisa and Josh, Tarita and Craig, and Conway and Eric. The group ventured out to the nice Chinese restaurant Scott and Anne ate at a few days ago. Glad everyone liked our recommendation!
Here's a picture of our adoption group that was taken yesterday in Tianamen Square yesterday. This is just the group that's going to Chongqing.
Well, have to go grab some more water quickly for the grand hike up the wall. We can't wait to post again!

Very cool. We appreciate your taking the time to make the posts and pictures available. It is wonderful being able to partake in your trip with you. Compare this to the "vacation slides" of not too long ago...
We are very excited for you!

Hello - the rain finally stopped at home and we have mowed today! Being in your backyard convinced me that I want to continue the fence around our yard, and not put up an invisible fence for "Riley". The feeling in a backyard is so peaceful whe it is landscaped and loved! Hopefully this next summer we can redo our deck as well. Anyway we are thinking of you in the rickshaws, I am sure it is quite a ride - which is better the 100mph in a car or......? See you soon, Your neighbors back home :)

Counting the days (make that DAY) until Ava!!! So thrilled. So utterly thrilled. We could just pee from the excitement. Ok, that was uncalled for... but, well, we are just so darn excited. :)
This is awesome!

We're home from the north woods. So enjoyed your beautiful pictures, and your commentaries. Only a couple of more hours and you'll have sweet Ava in your arms. Our hearts are with you. Love, Mom & Dad
Oh, my goodness...we can hardly believe it's now (as I type this) less than an hour before you go to see Ava....
It's been tough holding back the tears as I've been thinking about you two so often thoughout this day, especially...counting down the hours...imagining you two sleeping??? (hoping you were able to sleep with all of the impending excitement)
...I picture lots of us following your blog needing to grab for the kleenex soon...for when we finally see your picture with Ava in your arms...
...so totally thrilled for you...
Wishing you the best on this most wonderful day!

Hi, Anne and Scott,
We've just gone on to your blog to read all about your fantastic adventures picking up sweet Ava in China. It is hard to fathom this trip and all it means - the possibilities for Ava, for you, seeing China, being in such a very foreign spot. I appreciate all you're doing and being able to read about your experiences.
Much love and many hugs to the three of you,
Jim and Hester
