Boo!

Ladybug Ava and her duck friend, Hanna, hung out together for their first Halloween this October 31. Festivities took place at the Sun Prairie "bubble house," so named for the bubble machine placed near the home's entrance, much to the delight of all the little ghosts and goblins. Ava had fun watching the big kids (Isaac and Caitlyn) and playing with her friend. She even stayed up past her bedtime and didn't seem to mind. She fell fast asleep for the car ride home.

How delightful of Donna to invite you all over for Halloween. The babies are absolutely adorable!

I feel like telling little Ava the ladybug story. By the time she can read this blog, she will have heard the story many times. But as Annie's momma, I'd love to tell it--------

Dear Ava,

Your mama was my little girl and she loved ladybugs. So when I saw a little outfit in the store with a ladybug on the shirt and ladybugs on the pant pockets, I had to buy it. Your mama Annie was always so thankful for even little things--the fuzzy winter coat that kept her so warm, the new bicycle and new spring jacket that made her proclaim that she was the luckiest girl in the world. So when she got her ladybug outfit, she was so delighted and wanted to wear it every day. Back to the store I went for an identical outfit so that one could go in the wash, and one could always be on Annie (-:

Years later, Anne and Scott decided to go to China to adopt YOU (-: And then they learned that the symbol for Chinese adoption is the ladybug (-: It was all meant to be! Anne and Scott would be your mama and papa and you would be their precious little girl and the cutest little ladybug!

Now Annie is truly the luckiest little girl in the world!
With lots of love from Annie's Mama and Ava's Grandma Mary xoxoxo
