Ava's continued to have fun, however. We celebrated Chinese New Year twice, attending a local celebration with other adoptive families and seeing a lion dance with two other families at a great restaurant. Both times, spilled drinks and soup combined nicely with silk outfits. Ava also received lucky money and New Year's gifts from our friends at Min Du's, a great restaurant in Appleton.
We've been sledding, which Ava loved. Ava's also done a great job shoveling the yard with her red shovel, and has really been into coloring lately. Cars with people in them and "happy balloons" have been recent themes.

Great to see you guys back in action on the blog! Although Ava as Spiderman is nothing to complain about. I hope some of that snow is starting to melt away. Also, check your mailbox for something from New York soon!
