Hi, there - it's catch-up-post time! April's been busy - there's some weird inverse relationship going where the more photos we have, the less time we have to post. Here's what the family's been up to.

Heading out for a weekend getaway in Schaumburg (IKEA, how we love you) with Kim and Allan.

Hanging with Grandma and Grandpa for a day before Anne headed out to Phoenix for a conference.

Ava giving dolly a ride in her new wagon.

Having fun with Grandpa - Scott's parents visited while Anne was away. Thank you, thank you - Ava loved it, and Scott needed it!

Hanging with Grandma at the tropical dome. Don't you love the matching jackets?
Big smiles - it's spring! Well, on the day this photo was taken, at least! It did snow for a while a few days later....

Anne hiking in Phoenix with Julie and Bill after the conference. So much fun to see them!

Mom's back home and all is well! (Scott, we'll be coming after you this week with the camera - there's no record of you being in April so far!)

Great pics! Anne, was it hard leaving Ava for the week? I always had the hardest time leaving Josh... going to a ladies conference tomorrow night and back Saturday and already missing the kids! (and hubby). Love the picture of you in the desert! HOW FUN! And then to leave that and come home to snow! Brrrr!
Great seeing you guys, on line at least! Have a great weekend!
Lisa :)
Great pics! Holy Cow you have been busy!!
Good to see the snow is mostly gone with you guys! The last just melted out of our driveway yesterday (I threw some in the freezer for safekeeping). ;-)

Anne: you always look so fab-u-lous!
Ava: following in mom's fab-u-lous footsteps! always a friendly smile :)
I bet the Arizona air was awesome... I bet when you got home, it seemed like Ava changed so much.
Scott: looking forward to seeing a post of your smilin' face soon :)!
I look at these pictures and get a lump in my throat at how much that little girls life has changed since her birth in China.
God has truly orchestrated a wonderful life for her...she couldn't ask for better parents. These pics illuminate with so much love.
Wow.
