Santa!

Santa came to our house early this year, as we'll be up north over Christmas. Either that, or he knew that Ava had been so good this year that she deserved to get her presents early.

Mom and Dad bought Ava her kitchen instead of Santa (we're taking credit!). Ava was washing dishes and melting butter for eggs in no time!

Little People book, or the LP as we call it.

Without prompting, Ava pauses halfway to pick up the wrapping paper and throw it in the trash.

Tutu happiness.

Pay no attention to the man in pajamas.

Time for blueberry pancakes!

Later that day and after a haircut, Ava was lucky enough to meet Santa himself at her friend Claire's party! She was pretty serious when on his lap, but was cracking up and sharing toy cars with him when she could sit a bit farther away.

Thanks for the good day, Santa!

The magic of Christmas as seen through the eyes of a sweet little girl! What a day! Merry Christmas Ava!

And as it also happened to be your birthday, Annie, I couldn't help but reflect that this was a magical birthday for you, watching the happiness of your sweet daughter.

I want Ava's kitchen. Scott, can you build one for me? And I love the tutu over the pajamas. A new fashion trend. (-:

All the photos in the blog this December are absolutely enchanting!

So hurrah, see you "up north" so soon. Grandmas, Grandpas, uncles and aunt can't wait!

Lots of love from Grandma Mary & Grandpa Jim

Southern Ava says "Ava kitchen too!".

She also says "no sit Santa's lap.. Ava scared". So, we're obviously going to have to gear her up for the visit to Santa on Friday.

Merry Christmas!

Have a wonderful visit with your family! Love Ava's kitchen. Craig and Andrew are busy now putting Shoshannah's kitchen together. It will be ready in the morning when she comes down. How fun maybe all our girls will be Chef's and they can open their own chain of resturants:)

Merry Christmas,
The Bacon Family.
