Yes, there's been a lot of posts lately - with Halloween and Ava's birthday, we're having to post almost daily to keep up with the activities! Right now, thought we'd share some photos from Ava's friend party on Friday, where everyone showed up in their Halloween costumes and promptly stripped them off.

Ava helped make cupcakes the day before the party. Here, she practices the concept of "no touch."

Mama's little fishy. Note the pumpkin/fall theme in the kitchen.

Dad's little fishy. Note the Elmo balloon theme in the foyer. Scott went for balloons and since they didn't have leaf balloons, got what he knew would be Ava's favorite.

Waiting for friends to arrive.

"How old are you, Ava?" Ava can carefully put up two fingers and say "two!" now.

Hanna the kitty-kat, after the costume got taken off.

Ian and Claire testing out the Fischer Price toys.

How cute is Lyhla?

Second-cousins Ava and Ethan - the scarecrow and the goldfish check each other out.

Drew, who was the knight from Monty Python. He even had the coconut clackers!

Claire enjoys some frosting.

Ava, we love your birthday party pictures. Your friends are so cute. You look like you're having a good time and enjoying every minute with your friends. What a little sweetheart. Grandpa and I can't believe how big your cousin Ethan is now. "Joy, if you're reading this, he is adorable." See you soon Ava. Hugs and kisses!

We are so sad we couldn't come! I posted pics of Julia in her fishy costume on our blog, they could have been fishy twins.
