One year ago, we saw our daughter's face for the first time. We immediately thought she was beautiful, of course, but we also thought she looked wise, kind and thoughtful.
Our intuition was correct - Ava is such a smart, kind little soul. We feel extremely blessed to be able to guide this amazing little girl in the world!

Yay! Happy referral day. There's nothing like getting to know that baby in the photo, and watching her grow. :)
As Ava's Grandparents we feel so blessed to have Ava in our lives. Looking back on that momentous day a year ago, seeing her picture for the first time, we're reminded how overwhelming the entire wait was, especially for Anne and Scott. I just linked over to your China Trip posts... wow.. we have been very nostalgic lately. It was so fun to read the trip through other eyes so to speak. I loved the cable ride video! HA! You nailed the feeling there!!! And the Chongqing video was great. You know... we haven't really watched any of our videos except for Gracie Day. We are currently looking through them... ahhhh... what a great time!
