Ava was so cute this weekend that we couldn't stop taking pictures....good thing we have a digital camera! Here's a very winnowed selection of the weekend photo shoot.
Ava's been talking up a storm - a few surprises have been "dice" after hearing it labeled the day before, "stuck," "broke" and "bicycle." We have some friends that bet how many words their little guy could say and then counted for a while. We haven't counted, but we're guessing 60? Maybe 75? Words like "butter," "freckle" and "pepper" have to be increasing the count!
It was a really nice, lazy (well, as lazy as it can be with an 18-month-old) weekend. Had several friends over, ate vast quantities of food, took Ava to our favorite summer destination, The Flower Factory. Ava loved the outdoor train set and pond, and smelling the flowers. We spent less than $50, which proves how adult-like we've become.
Well, I'll stop rambling. Now onto the pictures!

Ah, summer days with an 18 month old! Brings back memories of our Annie at that age (-: And now we relive that with little Ava (-:
How fun to be outside with her in your beautiful garden. We had such fun playing hide and seek with her among the flowers--just one of our favorite games with her (-: Thanks for sharing the joy!
Keep having fun (-: Lots of Love from Grandma Mary and Grandpa Jim xoxoxoxo

Ah, she is just the cutest. Great pic of the whole family, too!
Hey Scott,
Have to say I am disappointed, 30th anniversary of Star Wars and no pictures of Ava as Princess Leia or Queen Amidala?
All kidding aside, she looks like she is a lot of fun and very photogenic. Enjoy the summer with the little one!
