6-Month Anniversary

Can you believe that yesterday was our 6-month anniversary with Ava? Yes, half a year has already gone by in the blink of an eye. Six months and a week ago Anne and Scott were touring Beijing. Wow. That went fast.

Ava is doing great, and she's especially great at knowing what she wants to say, but not being able to say it. That equals some frequent frustration from the little Avester. Sometimes even Ava's baby sign language isn't enough, as what Ava really wants to tell is, "would you PLEASE hand me that pea I dropped on the floor that rolled beneath the shelf!" It's just not easy to say that when you're 16 months old.
