On Saturday, Ava's relatives gathered to celebrate her first birthday. Ava was so sociable, sharing her toys and occasionally hugging people's knees. After hearing "Happy Birthday" sung to her, she softly sang her own rendition back.
Ava really enjoyed all of the fun toys and cute gifts she received. And, she did have her first bites of birthday cake, but luckily still happily ate her veggies the next day.
And yes, next year will probably be ladybug-theme free. But how could we resist?
